WHO ARE BB5?
Once upon a time, in a town not far from here, lived five very different bears with the same dream: they all wanted to be the next big winner of the hottest new TV show, Bear Factor.
Evan, Zack, Claude, Jamer and LJ all went to the same school but hung out with very different crowds. Evan was very smart and he loved his classes. Jamer spent his time with the “rebels.” Zack was the photographer for the school yearbook. LJ was in the youngest class and still trying to fit in with the older bears. Claude was an exchange student who had just come over from the United Kingdom. But at the Bear Factor auditions, their worlds would collide.
Hundreds of bears from all over came out to try to make it on the show. Everyone auditioned inside a big theater—there were some really talented bears there! When Evan went onto the stage, Jamer was surprised. Evan was so quiet at school; Jamer didn't know he sang! Jamer was even more surprised at how good Evan was! Jamer took his music very seriously and he knew talent when he saw it. And Evan was equally impressed with Jamer! When Zack got out from behind his camera, he could really sing too! Then LJ got on stage and instead of singing, he rapped! Claude was the new kid in school and no one really knew what to expect, but he had the smoothest, sweetest voice (and bright blue eyes that made all the girls in the audience swoon!)
After everyone had auditioned, they all gathered excitedly to hear who would make the show. The judge called 10 names—but not the names Evan, Jamer, Zack, LJ or Claude. Everyone who hadn't been called walked sadly out of the theater—except Jamer. He had an idea. Jamer ran up to Evan before Evan got into his parents’ car. The two had never spoken at school, so Evan was really surprised! Jamer told him his idea: why not form their own band?
Evan was on board right away and they spread out to talk to Zack, LJ and a. They were all stoked and decided to start rehearsing in Jamer's garage that night! They named themselves Bear Band 5, or BB5 for short, and from then on out, they knew that they were onto something very special. All of this excitement caught the attention of superstar music manager Johnny Wright who arranged to meet BB5! He loved them so much that he moved them into his Artist Compound to work on their music full time! BB5 was going to be BIG!

BB5’s demographic is 4 to 7 year olds, and as a group of singing bears, you can expect that their music is made to match. The music is written and produced by experts in the space and then performed by various vocalists who can be interchanged as needed (think Kidz Bop). Music is released in the same way records from your favorite bands are: for purchase at digital retailers or streaming on your favorite service.
WATCH
BB5 isn’t a faceless bear band, they come to life when kids watch BB5 content. Episodic in nature, each is a piece of short-form content and appropriate for kids’ attention spans. Still, each episode is packed full of music and contains a succinct story with a lesson to be learned. Episodes focus on one bear at a time and explore their unique perspectives. Being that each bear has a distinct personality, there’s always something fun for children to absorb.
EXPERIENCE
Whether kids are watching or listening to BB5 on their favorite devices, they know that the excitement doesn’t stop there! BB5 is also a live touring event where life-sized, costumed bears get on-stage to sing-a-long and engage with them at their local theater. Ancillary merchandise is also available for sale at each event. From t-shirts to stuffed bear toys and of course, original BB5 music—the events are a one-stop shop for all things BB5.
